THE BILL s. 147 KNOWN AS THE AKAKA BILL
BACKGROUND
S.147
PARAGRAPH #3
The Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act does three things. (1) It establishes the Office of Native Hawaiian Relations in the Department of the Interior to serve as a liaison between Native Hawaiians and the United States. (As it once did from the Hawaiian Homestead act of 1920 a private act passed by congress; now the state of Hawaii is trying to change it to the name the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act of 1920 under the states legislative act as a public act giving them The state the right to control with or without the permission of congress it assets estimated at 10 billion per year (2)establishes the Native Hawaiian Interagency Coordinating Group to be composed of federal officials from agencies which administer Native Hawaiian programs. Both of these provisions are intended to increase coordination between the Native Hawaiian and the federal government. (3)And third, the bill provides a process of reorganization of the Native Hawaiian governing entity. I am very proud of the fact that while the bill provides structure to the process, it also provides the Native Hawaiian community with the flexibility to truly reorganize its governing entity.

Though insidious without intentions: and insinuating a formula of degradation towards a group of constituents by a proclamation insessorial by ones interpretation deemed best; without question defines the man's intelligence based on a by gone era. Thus denial of a future generation to excel. But rather to live in stagnation regardless of the era. Because of one man's beliefs. "What's good for the gander is good for the goose" circa 1893.
