Great To Have – Antivirus Scan Virus Software Review

I love the fact that, every time I go to a website it tells me if it’s safe or not. It seems to be working just fine. Norton does everything to keep you protected, and this is a good product. It doesn’t slow down your computer like earlier versions did. Deleting all or no cookies is so early Microsoft IE, which they even fixed (well, to a point). I have used Norton security since the days of Peter Norton and DOS, although there were a few years when the product was so slow and bloated that I used other security products.

I wouldn’t bother with Windows own. I don’t know if it’s still true, but Diskeeper used to be the company that provided Microsoft with its basic defragger tool – basically a crippled version of the real thing, what marketing people call “aspirational” (it looks great on paper, but it doesn’t yet or never will work). I still use it though and have had good results using both. Other than that, it does what I bought it to do, Keep my comp’s running.

Although this one has some improvements, they really are dead ends. This is good for blocking most things but once something gets on it never will seem to find it.

I have also installed Norton’s Utilities to handle the extra functions that 360 offered. I only run it once a month. If I want the email I may save it back to my Inbox. Norton will not let me change the target location for spam.

Once I figured that out things went smoothly. Excellent price at almost half the price, and I used the difference to get a power cord for my laptop! I barely noticed IS 2009 was running and fortunately both IS 2010 and IS are just as bullet proof and unobtrusive. It installed on each of my Win 7 64bit desktops without any issues whatsoever. It runs like 2010 Norton but I did run into one problem took me some time to find out where to add the registration number to activate it. I am pleased with this product because I feel a lot safer in using my computer without fear of unwanted hackers invading it. I had left the computer in sleep mode and went into the kitchen when the hacker broke in. Because Norton gave him the passwords for my EMAIL Accounts, he logged on and changed the passwords and I could no longer access these EMAIL accounts.

I also recommend NIS over Norton 360, as the latter product is overkill for the average user, and can consume more memory/resources.

We have used Norton internet protection for several years. My husband is a computer programmer and this is the system they use at his work.

If you check their website, there are others with the same problem. If the next phone call does not resolve the problem, I will take a loss and purchase another system.

The AutoLogin feature works great and makes my multi-page password list obsolete. Windscreen Replacement Cost.
